Photo Use & Image License
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Overview
This page explains how the images on webuydoublewides.com are licensed, how they may (and may not) be used, and what to do if you believe content on this site infringes your copyright.
Photos We Took
Project photos — manufactured homes, doublewides, singlewides, mobile homes on land — that we shot ourselves during property walk-throughs, closings, or after purchase are our property. Roger Choate or someone on the company's behalf personally took these.
You may:
- View, save, or print images for personal, non-commercial reference.
- Share a link to a page on this site that contains the images (linking is always fine).
- Quote or excerpt with proper attribution under U.S. fair-use principles, with a credit line such as "Photo: We Buy Doublewides (webuydoublewides.com)".
You may not, without written permission:
- Republish full-resolution images on a commercial website, listing service, or marketing material.
- Use images in paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, sponsored content, print ads).
- Use images to imply a relationship, endorsement, or affiliation that does not exist.
- Use images in AI training datasets without prior written permission.
- Crop, edit, or alter images in ways that misrepresent the property or transaction.
Seller-Supplied Photos
Some pages display photos provided by sellers after closing, used with permission as part of our project portfolio. These images:
- Remain the copyright of the photographer or seller who supplied them.
- Are licensed to We Buy Doublewides only for non-exclusive use on this site, in our social media, and in our marketing material.
- May be removed at any time at the original photographer or seller's written request.
Selling to us? If you'd prefer we not photograph or share images of your property publicly, just let Roger know up front. We respect that — most of our sellers prefer privacy, and we never publish photos without explicit permission.
Third-Party Images
A small number of images on this site (icons, logos, partner badges, county maps, stock imagery) are licensed from third parties under their respective terms. Where required, credit and licensing information is shown adjacent to the image or in our source code.
Requesting Permission
If you'd like permission to use a specific image — for a news article, real-estate publication, academic paper, or anything else — email Roger at [email protected] with:
- The exact image URL (right-click the image and choose "Copy image address").
- How you intend to use it (publication, audience size, commercial vs editorial).
- Required attribution format (we'll usually approve with a credit line).
We respond to permission requests within 3 business days. Most legitimate editorial / academic requests are approved at no cost.
DMCA — Reporting Infringement
If you believe content on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), the notice must include:
