Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
We Buy Doublewides is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe a seller researching how to sell a manufactured home shouldn’t be blocked by website-design choices, and we work to make sure that’s the case here.
Standards We Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this site. Specific practices we follow:
- Semantic HTML structure (proper headings, lists, landmarks).
- Alt text on meaningful images.
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements.
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA on text and interactive elements.
- Form fields with associated labels.
- ARIA labels where native HTML doesn’t carry enough meaning.
- No reliance on color alone to convey information.
- Responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom and on small mobile screens.
- Skip-to-main-content links where applicable.
Known Limitations
We’re honest about where we’re still working:
- Some older blog content predates our current standards and may not have ideal heading structure or alt text. We’re updating these gradually.
- Some property photos used as decorative background images may not have alt text (these are decorative; functional content is always provided in text).
- The site uses Google Fonts which require a network connection — if web fonts fail to load, the site falls back to system fonts.
Talking to Us Without the Website
Our entire business runs on phone calls and texts. If any part of this website is hard to use, please call or text Roger directly at (502) 528-7273. He can answer any question, take any information, and start any process you would otherwise use the website for. There is no need to fill out a form to sell us your property — a phone call is just as good.
We can also accommodate:
- Sellers who prefer phone communication only.
- Sellers who need information emailed or mailed in physical form.
- Sellers who need a family member, friend, or interpreter to participate in calls.
- Sellers who require ASL interpretation (we can arrange via VRI or a third-party service for in-person walkthroughs).
- Closing-document accommodations through the title company (large-print, read-aloud, electronic-only, etc.).

If you encounter any part of this website that isn’t accessible — missing alt text, broken keyboard navigation, unreadable color combinations, a form you can’t complete with assistive technology — please tell us. We fix what we can quickly.

Third-Party Content
This site includes content and tools from third parties (Google Analytics, Google Fonts, Facebook, embedded maps). Those services have their own accessibility characteristics outside our control. Issues with third-party content should be reported to the third party, but we’ll do our best to find workarounds where possible.
This Is Not a Legal Disclaimer
This statement describes what we actually do to make the site accessible and how to reach us if we’ve fallen short. It’s not legal advice and doesn’t limit any rights you have under the Americans with Disabilities Act or any state accessibility law.
